Edvance Webinar
On Thursday, November 13, Edvance will be presenting a webinar about the Union College Benefit and how it can help Steelworkers and their families. The webinar will be held over zoom at 10:00 a.m. Central/11:00 a.m. Eastern/8:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Please register for the webinar below. We will send the zoom link the week before the event. If there is someone else at your location who could benefit from this webinar, please encourage them to register so that they receive the zoom link as well.

In September we announced a new National Educational Partner, Edvance. Edvance offers the Union College Benefit to USW members and their families. Through the Union College Benefit, Edvance offers tuition discounts at partner institutions that are both accredited and 100% online. The Union College Benefit can be an additional aid to Steelworkers using Tuition Assistance by stretching tuition dollars farther.
In addition, while family members are not eligible for ICD Tuition Assistance, they would still be eligible for Edvance tuition discounts. Also, Steelworkers and their families can use Edvance’s matching tool to recommend a partner school in their marketplace that fits their student needs.
