Learning Summit just around the corner

What is the future of training?

How will members be participating in the next 5-10 years?

Where is that sweet spot for ICD as it pertains to benefitting the members and helping a company achieve its objectives?

Am I really getting the best bang for my buck with certain educational vendors?

What is my legal (and/or financial) exposure when it comes to hiring a vendor?

How can our program take advantage of the opportunities offered by classes delivered by Zoom or streaming?

These are just some of the questions we hope to be able to provide answers to at the upcoming ICD Learning Summit in Niagara Falls.

If you attended the ICD National Conference in December, you undoubtedly heard USW International President Tom Conway begin to carve out new space for ICD in terms of training capacity and certain directions in which Career Development can travel in the future.

PLEASE JOIN US FOR THAT DISCUSSION!

Over the course of the day-and-a-half of training, we will cover the topics mentioned above. We will also be taking an optional field trip to the nearby USW/Sumitomo-Buffalo Learning Center Wednesday afternoon. Lunch will be provided.

You don’t want to miss this training opportunity so please register today and make your plans to attend by clicking the link below. A tentative agenda is also posted. A reminder that the deadline to reserve your hotel room at the Sheraton Niagara Falls is May 20.
