To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Have maintained at least a 3.0 grade point average in the past,
  • Be starting or returning to college in the fall of 2019 or spring of 2020, and
  • Be the child/grandchild of a Steelworker who is eligible to participate in the Career Development Program.

Getting ICD Into Your Contract

Start by contacting us!

ICD is a contractually negotiated benefit, so start contacting the USW Bargaining Committee responsible for negotiating your collective bargaining agreement and let them know you are interested in having ICD written into your next contract.
